It’s Read an Ebook Week

Read an Ebook Week started today – March 2nd 2014 – and runs until March 8th.

This international event  aims to promote digital reading and literacy and started back in 2004, which means it’s currently celebrating its 10th anniversary.

So what happens during Read an Ebook Week? Well, various ebook distributors take part, and heaps of books are offered free or discounted. Smashwords is a sponsor of the event and has a Read an Ebook Week catalogue on its website.

If that’s not enough choice for you, there are loads of free books up for grabs at the Apple iBookstore/iTunes. There are two catalogues you can browse – one for free first-in-a-series titles, and another for all other free ebooks. Or you could check out the freebies at Barnes & Noble (for Nook ereaders), or more than 200,000 free titles at the Diesel ebook store.

You can find most of the Little Pig Publishing titles in the above promotions too. So go on, what are you waiting for? Get reading.

Welcome to Little Pig Publishing

Hello book lovers and welcome to The Little Pig Publishing blog.

Little Pig Publishing is an indie publisher that launched in November 2013. Our aim is to publish ebooks we like – books we can’t put down, books that intrigue and entertain us – not books that are a safe bet in terms of profit margins. Well, that’s the beauty of indie publishing.

So check back with us regularly to find out what we’re up to and what new titles we’re distributing via the usual channels (Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Smashwords, Nook, Kobo, Diesel… to name the biggest ones). It’s going to be a blast.
